Seminars Policies

  1. The students are informed to consult their concerned teachers for the selection of topic of Seminar.
  2. No change/ Postpone/ Prepone/ or exchange of dates will be permitted.
  3. The candidate should submit the abstract of the topic to “Seminar Committee” by Wednesday after getting approved by the concerned subject expert. Failing to submit the abstract to “Seminar Committee” will be considered as absent and appropriate action will be initiated by the Committee.
  4. The presentation must include all references.
  5. The “Seminar Committee” will display the approved topic on UG notice board by the evening of every Wednesday.
  6. Time allotted for each candidate is 30Minutes including presentation & discussion.
  7. Presentation will be through PPTs, OHPs along with audio visual aids.
  8. In case of PPTs, Presentations must be designed in Following Fonts only.

  • BG Color –           Optional
  • Text Color –           Optional (Appropriate with BG Color)
  • Number of Slides Minimum-10    Maximum-25
  1. The post discussions are made only between presenter and students.
  2. 5 Photo copies of the presenting seminar should be submitted to “Seminar Committee” on the day of presentation.
  3. The Candidate, students should be present inside the seminar hall before 10 Minutes of the presentation.
  4. In case of Holidays/ any other reasons on scheduled day, the same should be presented on next working day.
  5. Penalty of Rs.500 will be collected from the candidate who fails to present the seminar on the scheduled date and it will be rescheduled, intimated by the “Seminar Committee”.
  6. In case of genuine reason for absence or inability to present the seminar the decision will be made by the “Seminar Committee” and informed later.
  7. The students who fail to attend the seminar without prior permission will be penalized for Rs.100.
  8. No exemption from penalty of Rs.100 for absentees even with prior permission.
  9. Dress code (Formals, Apron, ID Card) should be maintained on high priority. No student will be allowed to present seminar with the breach of Dress Code & will be penalized by the “Seminar Committee”.
  10. Discipline and Silence must be maintained on high priority in the seminar hall.
  11. At the end of the academic year the best presentation will be awarded.
